Background
The original PICC health was one of the first insurance company in China, founded only 20 days after the foundation of People’s Republic of China. The new PICC, was aiming to become a comprehensive, international insurance group, addressing new demands and new customers. This was the start of PICC Health cooperation with Bang.
Challenges
With an increasing number of sub-brands and services, how to manage and coordinate each subsidiaries while integrating them into a harmonious ensemble, was the main issue waiting to be solved.
Solution
After clarifying the brand architecture and analysis of the corporate management, Bang created a design which could satisfy the following:
1. Wide-ranging application with coherent brand extensions
2. Global design language and implementation in global environments
3. Unique segment characteristics, taking into account specific circumstances
4. Consolidation of PICC master-brand with extensive applications development and sub-brand, visual connections.
